‘Twilight’ in German

Hello over there, this is Germany calling! I’ve just visited your great Web site, naturally looking for “Twilight” scenes. As it seems, most fans you have met are young, well let me tell you, the fever here in Germany has caught for the novels! Most of the fans I meet in my bookstore are women my age, that means above 35 (I’m 47), and there is no end in sight. In Germany the first novel is called “Bis(s) zum Morgengrauen.” “Bis” means “until,” written with a double -s it becomes “bite,” “zum Morgengrauen” means “until twilight,” so it actually reads either “Until twilight” or “A bite at twilight,” depending on what you want it to read.

We are giving almost everybody who buys the book and speaks English (which quite a lot of my customers do) your web address. The novels are so great, your town is too, and I wouldn’t be surprised to read sooner or later, that tourists from all over the world start pouring in. What started as a book for teens has at least in my country reached out for a totally different audience, which is feverishly waiting for the third novel to be published in February!
