Twilight publicity Mike Gurling contributed photo A news team from King 5 TV in Seattle paid a visit to Forks on Saturday, Oct. 11 to cover the Twilight phenomenon going on in the town. The segment is scheduled to air on Monday, Nov. 17 in a build-up to the premiere of the film version of the Forks-set “Twilight.” A crew from KOMO television also went along with Mike Gurling of the Forks Chamber of Commerce on the organization’s Twilight Tour of sites mentioned in the book in Forks and LaPush. A reporter from the Los Angeles Times interviewed Gurling on Monday, Oct. 13. Gurling said the Twilight story is expected to be in the newspaper within the next three weeks. A video of the visit is also set to appear on the Times Web site. In addition, a 10-minute interview with Gurling was made by Westwood Radio out of Los Angeles last week. It is scheduled to air on some 500 Westwood Radio stations across the nation. |
