Dawn Harris and Carla Ides, the energetic chairpersons of this Elks community activity; send a HUGE thank you to everyone who had a hand in helping to bring back the Forks Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Three thousand (3,000) dyed and plastic eggs were set out in the Tillicum Park ball fields on Saturday.

Thanks to the commitment and support of local businesses, the Elks were able to stuff eggs with certificates for cookies, ice cream, candy, and much more. Home Slice Take ‘N Bake, Decker’s City Hardware, E & E Timber, Inc., Subway, Sunset Lanes, Sully’s, Forks Outfitters, and Elks – Our hats are off to you all for stepping up and being there for our community. Thank you!

Thank you to the Elks members who devoted so much time and energy to making this event happen again. This crew was unstoppable. Egg hunting got underway under sunny skies at Tillicum Park at 11 a.m. sharp as Forks Police Chief Mike Rowley gave everyone the “Go” over his vehicle’s PA system. Only a few hours later and these egg hunters would have been hunting in the snow, hail, and rain. Photo Christi Baron
