Fabric of the Forest Quilt show this weekend

Piecemakers Quilt Club will be hosting its twentieth anniversary Fabric of the Forest Quilt Show on April 21, 22, and 23 at the Forks High School Auxiliary Gym, 261 Spartan Avenue, Forks, WA.

Hours are Friday, Noon to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, Noon to 4 p.m.

There is no admission fee but donations are appreciated.

Local quilters are invited to display their quilts. Please bring your quilts to the gym Thursday, April 20, between 3- 6 p.m.

You will need the following information to fill out the quilt show forms: name or pattern of the quilt, name of owner, name of who pieced the quilt, and who it was quilted by.

Quilts must be picked up on Sunday at 4 p.m.

This year’s show features more than 100 quilts by local quilters, a raffle quilt, classes, demonstrations on T-Shirt quilts and wool appliqué, vendors, a tag sale, and sewing machine cleaning.

We are privileged to offer classes by acclaimed quilter, Sue Bouchard, on Friday and Saturday. Sue will also give a “Trunk Show” on Friday evening at 7 p.m. at the Congregational Church.

Piecemakers Quilt Club is an educational group that teaches all levels of quilting. Its purpose is to encourage the art of quilting through classes, get-togethers, retreats and the annual Quilt Show.
