Coast Guard aids boaters at La Push

On Friday while conducting Surf training the crew at Coast Guard Station Quillayute River received a notification of a vessel in distress one mile south of the Quillayute River Bar. The vessel had 05 people on board and was drifting towards rocks and shoal. The 47288 and 47313 quickly responded and headed towards the vessel’s location. Once on scene, the vessel was visibly less than 20 yards from the rocks. Motor Lifeboat 47288 quickly put the vessel in tow and navigated the vessel back to the La Push Marina.

Great work to the crew!
