Prince of Peace Lutheran Church invites the Forks community to join them for three special events in December
Wednesday, Dec. 20: The Power of Prayer
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church will be open from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for anyone to come to the sanctuary to pray for peace, for others in need, or any personal prayer concerns. All are welcome. You need not be connected with a church. All you need is the simple desire for a conversation with God. Come as you are. Unable to come but want a prayer said on your behalf, just leave a message on the church phone (360-374-6343) and it will included.
Sunday, Dec. 24, Christmas Eve
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church will not be holding a worship service on Monday, Christmas Day. But two events are planned for Sunday, Dec. 24, Christmas Eve.
· Christmas Caroling in the sanctuary, 10-11 am
Come gather in the sanctuary at 10 a.m. for Christmas caroling in place of a morning service. It will be informal; come as you are.
· Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, 6 p.m.
Deacon Don Corson will lead a Christmas Eve candlelight worship service on Christmas Eve starting at 6 p.m. Candles will be provided. The Lutheran service is open to all and will include an open communion table.
