On Aug. 18, at around 10 p.m., the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office was notified that Anthony Robert Forshaw was taken into custody by the Marysville Police Department.

Forshaw, who was driving the stolen 2005 Buick, attempted to elude Marysville Officers. After about three miles, Forshaw lost control of the vehicle around a ninety degree corner and ran off the road. Forshaw continued to attempt to evade officers on foot and ran to a field.

Forshaw did not follow the commands of the officers and continued to hide from them. Forshaw was taken into custody a short time later with the assistance of a police K-9.

After receiving medical treatment for injuries sustained from his encounter with the K-9; Forshaw was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for possession of a stolen motor vehicle and attempt to elude a police officer.
