Clallam Bay Sekiu Lions sponsored Earth Day Cleanups both on the beaches and the Highway. Lion Bill Plumley organized the Highway 112 Cleanup for the two-mile stretch between MP16-18, in which he and local volunteers, Brandon Rodriquez and Lance Gayton collected 19 bags of trash.

On the beaches, Lion Roy Morris coordinated more than two dozen volunteers, including Lions Zone Chair Elliot Mann and several others from Forks and surrounding areas. They picked up more than 800 pounds of marine debris on the Strait beaches as well as road litter at beachheads. Volunteers pitching in make the difference in keeping the roads and beaches clean.
