Forks woman injured in collision

A collision in West Jefferson County left two injured Thursday, July 26.  Sasha Nicole Boling, 18, of Forks, was traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 101 about 30 miles south of Forks when she turned her vehicle, according to a Washington State Patrol report. Danny Ira Harner, 32, of Hoquiam, was traveling southbound and collided with Boling.  The road was closed for about 30 minutes around Milepost 161.  Boling was driving a 1991 Toyota Corolla. She was transported to Forks Hospital for ankle and shoulder injuries. Harner was driving a 1996 flatbed lumber truck with two trailers. He received arm injuries but left the scene of the accident. Both were wearing seatbelts, stated Washington State Patrol.  No drugs or alcohol were involved, according to the report. Charges against Boling for failing to yield are pending.
