OPNET Detectives hold a Federal Arrest Warrant for Rode that was issued on June 20.

"Rode’s  case began in early 2012 when Rode sold controlled substances to OPNET at five 

separate occasions," Viada said in a prepared statement. "Then, in March of 2012 OPNET and other agencies served a search warrant at Rode’s residence and arrested Rode, who was booked into the Clallam County Jail and charged with several felony violations of Washington State Law including narcotics and firearms violations."

As Rode’s case progressed through the Clallam County court system, the reports states, OPNET also sought federal firearms charges against Rode. On June 20, a federal agent assigned to OPNET obtained the  federal warrant for the arrest of Rode for violation of Title 18 of the United States Code, 

specifically "Felon in Possession of a Firearm – Armed Career Criminal."

According to court records, Rode has been previously convicted of 27 felonies. Additional 

Sheriff’s records indicate that Rode is a Level 3 (High Risk to Re-Offend) Sex Offender.
