Twilight fans from across the state, nation and overseas are expected in Forks and LaPush this weekend to celebration the 5th annual Bella’s Birthday/Stephenie Meyer Day celebration. The event is being moved to South Spartan Avenue this year, from Tillicum Park. A committee of Forks merchants and local fans are the organizers this year. The first four celebrations were planned and run by the Forks Chamber of Commerce. Twilight celebrities are also on the way, including the Hillywood Players, who impersonate Twilight characters, and the a major collector of Twilight memorabilia. On Saturday, Sept. 10 a Twilight literary symposium is being held in classrooms at a Forks school. Quileute royalty and wolf dancers are also planning a visit to Forks to precede traditional fireside storytelling at First Beach at LaPush at, of course, twilight on Saturday evening.
