Forks High School Class of 2012 toss their graduation caps on Saturday evening, June 9 following a 90-minute graduation exercise held in the Spartan Gym. The graduation program listed 59 graduates, which included students from the Forks Alternative School. Some of the graduates were home schooled, and several undertook the Running Start program with Peninsula College and have a jump on college with an associated degree. Valedictorian Ismael Ramos-Contreras gave the keynote student speech. Co-salutatorian Jessica Henry told of twice fighting a battle with cancer during her childhood, and of the loss of her twin sister, who would have graduated this year, to the disease.
