This September, the West End branches of the North Olympic Library System (NOLS), in partnership with First Step Family Support Center, will present three free clothing exchanges and storytimes for children and their parents or caregivers.

The first exchange will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at the Forks Library. There will be two additional exchanges on Tuesday, Sept. 27: one at 2 p.m. at the Clallam Bay Library, followed by another at 5:30 p.m. at the Makah Tribal Head Start, at 80 Ba’adah Village Loop Road in Neah Bay.

Each program will feature fun songs, rhymes and stories, as well as a free clothing exchange. This is a perfect opportunity to swap your gently worn children’s clothing for larger sizes — because clothes don’t grow, but kids do. Clothing has been generously provided by First Step Family Support Center.
