Bailee Kratzer pitched four innings with nine strikeouts, two walks and only giving up two hits. At the plate, she went 2 for 3 with three RBIs.

Skyler DeMatties went 3 for 3, with a double. Bailey Queen went 2 for 3 with four RBIs and a triple.

Forks Spartan — Coupeville

Forks Spartans traveled to Coupeville meeting Friday Harbor for a double header on Saturday, April 1 . The Spartans showed improving defense as they prepare for league play after Spring Break.

Game One — Forks Spartans 13, Friday Harbor 1

Britney Dean pitched a complete seven inning game, allowing her defense to hold strong. Surrendering only four hits and one unearned run. Julia Lausche went 3 for 4, with a three-run in the park home run. Rian Peters went 3 for 4, with two three-run home runs and Kierra Brandt also had a good showing, going 3 for 4.

Game Two — Forks Spartans 11, Friday Harbor 1

Jayden Olson pitched five innings giving up only one hit, one walk and 3 strikeouts. Bailey Queen went 3 for 3 and Julia Lausche and Skyler DeMatties were strong up the middle turning three double plays.
