November 20, 1940 – April 11, 2017
Judith “Judy” (Huggins) Hall, 76, passed away peacefully on a sunny spring morning, April 11, 2017, after complications following surgery, in Bremerton, WA.
Born on Nov. 20, 1940, in Sedro Woolley, WA, to Delmore and Muriel (Coward) Huggins, the family moved west to Forks when Judy was young. She went on to graduate from Forks High School in 1958.
Judy married Frank J. La Gambina in the fall of 1962, and the young couple went on to have 5 children. Although Frank and Judy divorced in 1975, Judy continued living in Forks where she owned and operated a clothing store and then worked for the Forks Forum.
In 1978, she married Mike Hall and moved to Craig, AK in 1983. In 1993 Judy moved back to Forks to be closer to her family and friends.
Besides family, Judy loved gardening, baking and traveling. She really had a love for beaches and was known to often travel to Mexico. Judy had a love for life and enjoyed laughing and touched us all with her great sense of humor.
Judy is survived by her 4 children, Alan, Arnold, Allison and Sabrina, 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Raini Dae, brother Jerold Huggins, parents Del and Muriel Huggins and her grand-daughter Aamanda La Gambina.
A memorial service is being held on June 17th, at 2 p.m., at the Forks Assembly of God Church.
We would like to give a special “Thanks” to the nursing staff at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Wa. For the special care that Mom received in her final days.
“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There are more than enough rooms in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me wherever I am.” – John 14: 1-4
