A City of Forks snow plow heads for Spartan Way on Monday afternoon, Jan. 16. Forks Ave. and main s streets were kept clear and sanded where needed. Forks schools were closed on Monday in observance of the Martin Luther King holiday. Additional heavy snowfall is expected overnight and on Tuesday.


  Cancelations of Tuesday meetings are beginning to come in to the Forks Forum.

WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW SHOWERS...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM

PST TUESDAY. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

A WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TUESDAY NIGHT

ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE AWAY FROM THE BEACHES AND ON HILLS ABOVE

ABOUT 100 FEET. SIGNIFICANT ADDITION ACCUMULATIONS ARE POSSIBLE
