Forks Man arrested for unlawful possession of drugs and guns

On the afternoon of Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, Deputies responded to 110 Quileute Heights in La Push. Deputies were notified by the La Push Police Department that 27-year-old Forks area resident Tommy Lee Cook was suspected of being in possession of illegal drugs and he was also believed to be in unlawful possession of firearms.

Deputies worked in cooperation with members of the La Push Police Department and the Washington State Patrol in order to obtain search warrants to seize guns and drugs (approximately 2.4 grams of Heroin) from Cook.

Tommy Lee Cook was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of firearms and other gun-related charges. Cook was transported to the Clallam County jail where he was booked into jail on the charges. Clallam County Prosecutors have since charged Cook with unlawful possession of drugs, unlawful possession of firearms and possession of a short-barreled shotgun. He is currently being held in the Clallam County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
