Dear Editor,

We’ve been listening for months at City Council meetings about changing the speed limits entering the town, citing the near-misses on the southern end and terrible, life-changing accidents on the northern entrance— so I have two questions:

– What valid reason is there for maintaining the current speeds?

– What would you consider the value of a ruined life?
