Marvel May Blevins

Marvel May Blevins died at Harborview Hospital on July 19, 2018, of medical complications. Marvel was born in Forks on May 5, 1934, to Ells and Ethel Whitehead. She married Tom Blevins on March 10, 1952. They had three daughters; Anna May, Lucelle and Barbara.

Marvel loved to do crafts, always knitting or crocheting. She also enjoyed working in her flower beds for as long as she was able to work outside.

She was a member of the Farmers Market for many years.

Marvel is survived by daughters Anna (Bos) Harris of Bellingham and Lucelle Blevins of Forks; brother Jim Whitehead of Forks and sisters Shirley Sharpes of Forks and Sue Hensen of Entiat, WA; five grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Tom, sister Jackie Parker, daughter Barb McCallister, grandson Johnny Bos and sons-in-law John Bos and Terry McCallister, niece Betty (Whitehead) Binschus and nephews Sid Moe and Gary Joe Parker.

Services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 4 at 1 p.m. at the VFW Hall, 110 S Spartan Ave., Forks.
