Community Easter weekend activities

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Exciting plans are being made for the 39th annual Community Easter Egg Hunt on April 20 at 1 p.m. at Tillicum Park. This event is hosted by the Forks Elks Lodge #2524 and sponsored by Sully’s Drive-In and Forks Outfitters. The three baseball fields will be divided by age group into 3 years and younger, 4 to 8-year-olds and 9 to 12-year-olds. The children will have 1,440 dyed eggs and over 400 plastic eggs filled with candy and gift certificates to gather.

Each child will receive a drawing ticket for a chance to win prizes that include two bicycles and helmets along with stuffed animals and chocolate Easter bunnies.

The Easter Bunny will also be there to hand out candy and provide photo opportunities. Come join us for some fun!

First Baptist Church

Please join us at the First Baptist Church’s Children’s Easter Celebration on April 20 at 2 p.m. for a fun-filled celebration of the true meaning of Easter.

The event will have a presentation of the Easter story, craft and cookie time, and a spectacular 2000+ Easter egg hunt containing candy and prizes. Each child will also receive an Easter book!

Children fifth grade and below may participate in the Easter egg hunt. There will be a separate Easter egg hunt for preschool age and under.

2019 Easter Breakfast

The Forks Elks Lodge, 941 Merchant Rd, will host the annual Easter Breakfast on Sunday, April 21, from 8 – 11 a.m. The menu will include ham, sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, orange juice, and coffee. The cost for breakfast is under three-free, ages 4-11 and seniors $6 and ages 12 and over $8. This event is sponsored by Concerned Citizens and the Forks Emblem Club.
