The day FDR came to town

On Tuesday, May 13, the West End Historical Society will discuss the day President Franklin Delano Roosevelt came to town, or actually drove through, although he did make some stops along the way

On Tuesday, May 13, the West End Historical Society will discuss the day President Franklin Delano Roosevelt came to town, or actually drove through, although he did make some stops along the way. Anyone that has a story about that September day in 1937 is invited to come and join the discussion.The WEHS meets the second Tuesday of each month at JT’s Sweet Stuffs at noon. The meetings are open to the public and dues are $5 per year.
