Downing receives President’s Medal from Peninsula College

Mark Orin Downing of Forks was among 12 students honored in a special ceremony on the Peninsula College campus on Tuesday, June 12 to recognize Peninsula College graduating students who have achieved the rank of a President’s Medalist.

The students received President’s Medals for scholarly excellence from interim college president Dr. Brinton Sprague and Board members during the June Board meeting.

“The President’s Medal is the highest academic honor a student can achieve at Peninsula College, and we congratulate these men and women for their outstanding academic achievements,” President Sprague says.  

Graduating students are eligible to receive a President’s Medal if they complete a degree having earned 45 college level credits at Peninsula College with a cumulative grade point average of 3.85 or higher.
