Soroptimist International of the Olympic Rain Forest proudly presents “Peace on Earth” the 25th anniversary of the annual Festival of Trees. Because of COVID, this year’s event will be a virtual auction on Facebook at Festival of Trees (SIORF Forks, WA). The auction starts on Friday, Dec. 4, and continues until Sunday, Dec. 6. You may bid online, for all wreaths and trees or call Diane 360-640-3186 or Cindy 360-640-2239, or check-in at auction headquarters at the Congregational Church to place your bid.
There will be no open house, instead, we invite you to a “Walkabout” town on Friday and Saturday to view our six beautifully decorated trees and 46 wreaths. Start your tour at Pacific Forest Management on the north end of town. Then head to Sully’s, Native to Twilight, Tip & Sip, Farmer’s Insurance, and Hair Affair. On the other side of Main Street, check out Forks Avenue Real Estate, the RAC, Chinook Pharmacy, and the Hoh Tribe building (the former Peninsula College). Continue your tour at First Federal, Pacific Inn Motel, the Congregational Church (parking lot windows), Pacific Pizza, and Forks Outfitters. Be sure to vote, online, for your favorite tree, when you have finished your tour.
