A beloved daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and aunt, Jennifer Ann Lane, 49, of Forks, Washington, left this world unexpectedly on December 1, 2020. Jenny was born in Coronado, California, on August 19, 1971, to Patty and Gerry Lane. Her death was the result of an acute asthma attack.
Jenny grew up in Forks, Washington, where she attended Forks High School before embarking on a journey that would see her live in many places, touching many lives. Her free spirit led her to enjoy the people and opportunities that she found in Port Angeles, Seattle, Kingston, Los Angeles, and even Palm Beach, Florida.
Jenny was a lover of the beach, hiking, DIY home improvement projects and all animals. Her dog Hannah was her baby. Jenny was funny, outgoing and vivacious, but she was also creative and introspective. She was fiercely loyal to her friends and family. We will always remember her infectious smile, long hugs, piercing blue eyes and polite, caring personality. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed.
Jenny was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents (Helen and Bob Henger) and her paternal grandparents (Marjory and George Lane), as well as her cousin Scott, her aunts Janet Calderwood and Terry Sardisco, and her uncle Denis Bingham. She leaves behind her parents, brother Rob, cousin Stephanie, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her beloved Hannah, who provides her parents a cheerful reminder of Jen’s glowing spirit each day.
Due to Covid-related restrictions, a formal memorial will not occur in the foreseeable future.
In lieu of flowers, we request a donation be made in Jenny’s name to the Friends of Forks Animals organization, P O Box 2022, Forks, WA.
