On July 9, 2021 at about 10:32 a.m., Deputies were dispatched to a residential burglary in progress near Beaver, WA.
Law Enforcement Units from the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office, Forks Police Department, La Push Police Department, Department of Natural Resources, Port Angeles Police Department K-9 Unit, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, and the Washington State Patrol were dispatched to the call.
Upon arrival, a perimeter was established and a K9 search of the residence and surrounding properties was conducted.
Though law enforcement arrived within eight minutes of receiving the call, a review of the residence’s surveillance footage showed the suspect fled just before their arrival.
The suspect arrived via a 2000’s GMC Yukon SUV. The suspects made multiple trips to the residence in the days prior to the attempted burglary.
With ongoing help from the public, Clallam County Sheriff’s Deputies have now developed probable cause for the arrest of 34-year-old area resident Kelly Rae Crowder for Residential Burglary, Theft Third Degree and Malicious Mischief Third Degree.
Deputies are asking for the public’s help in locating Mr. Crowder.
Kelly Rae Crowder is a 6’2” white male who weighs approximately 185 lbs. He has brown hair and green eyes.
