Bahokus Peak Challenge reaches out

9th annual event set for Saturday, Aug. 25 at Neah Bay

The 9th Annual Makah Days’ Bahokus Peak Challenge is being held in Neah Bay on Saturday, Aug. 25 at 4:00 pm and is being opened up to a wider range of participants. The event is an uphill fun walk/run.

There will be two challenges offered: a one-mile Half Challenge and a three-mile Full Challenge.

There are two ways to register: online or in person. To register online go to www.surveymonkey.com/s/bahokus. If registering in person, you can register at check-in. Check-in begins at 3:15 p.m. at the base of Bahokus Peak Rd. Directional signs will be posted at Neah Bay. There is a $10 registration fee that will be collected at check-in. Participants will receive an event T-shirt. 

The Bahokus Peak Challenge is being sponsored by the Sophie Trettivick Indian Health Center and the Makah Days committee.
