Tyler James Ellis was born in Forks, WA, on August 8, 2003. He went to be with his heavenly family on Sept, 18, 2021.

Tyler attended Forks schools and graduated in 2021.

Tyler was a never-ending ball of energy. He was intelligent, loving and so giving. As an only child for nine years, the best day of his life was when he became a big brother. His sister, Alexandria, and his brother, Gabriel looked up to him in awe. He loved his family with all of his heart. His Grandpa Alex was his hero and his Grandma Carolyn was his greatest support.

Tyler loved football. From West End Youth League all the way through high school, he dominated on and off the field with his big personality. He loved to coach the underclassmen and spoke the lingo like any professional. His greatest accomplishment was being named All-League as an offensive lineman during his senior year. He was so proud the day he found out his little brother would be wearing #78, just like him. He was looking forward to coaching him.

Tyler recently returned home from fishing in Alaska. He loved his time up there and was looking forward to making it his career. He even got to buy his first truck with cash even though he didn’t have his license yet.

Tyler loved to love. His friends meant everything to him. He would give anything to make them happy. In school, it didn’t matter where you seated him, next to boys or girls, he would make friends and talk. He loved “his boys”, his teammates. Tyler’s mom often compared them to a pack of puppies as they would always be wrestling and never wanted to be separated.

Tyler wasn’t just raised by his family. He had an amazing amount of adults that loved and cared for him. Brian and Darci Weekes were like parents to him. He was a life scout and truly loved his leaders. He was grateful for all of his coaches throughout the years, especially when he was coached by his Uncle Mikey Blair.

Tyler is survived by his Mom, and his biggest cheerleader, Tammy Ellis Leask, his Step-Dad, Brandon Leask, his sister Alexandria Leask, and his brother Gabriel Leask; extended brothers Keith, Shaun, and Patrick Weekes and sister Erin Weekes Flores. His grandparents, John and Carolyn Ellis and Mike Blair Sr.; Great-grandmother Carol Fairchild. Uncles Jeremy (Christina) Ellis, David (Becky) Ellis, Chris (Monica) Ellis, Mike (Jade) Blair, Jr. and Aunt Jenna (Neil) Crumley. He also had numerous cousins that he loved.

Tyler’s nickname was “Timmy” but he had announced to his friends, when he returned home from fishing, “I’m not Timmy anymore, call me Tyler, I’ve matured.”

Tyler’s family would like to invite everyone who loved and knew him to join them for his celebration of life on Saturday, October 2 at 4 p.m. at the LDS Church, 1301 Calawah Way.
