1961 – 2021
Brett Darren Partridge passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones, on September 20, 2021 in Forks, WA after a 14 month battle with glioblastoma. He was 60 years old.
Brett was a lifelong resident of the Olympic Peninsula. He was born in Port Angeles, and was the youngest of four children
born to Robert and Jacolyn Partridge.
He graduated from Port Angeles High School in 1979. He and Nadine were married in 1984 and they welcomed a
daughter, Stephanie, in 1985.
The family moved to Forks in 1999. He was an employee of Forks Outfitters for the last 24 years.
Brett made the most of his life and was a lover of all things outdoors. He enjoyed exploring back roads and wilderness in his ‘79 Ford Highboy, camping, fishing, hunting, digging razor clams, star gazing, and most of all he loved
gathering firewood.
He spent many evenings barbecuing for friends while enjoying backyard bonfires.
Brett could often be found at The Grind, where he was always ready for a game of cribbage and people watching. Despite his rugged exterior, Brett had a giant heart and loved his friends and family fiercely.
He wouldn’t say goodbye without also saying I love you. He maintained his goofy sense of humor throughout his battle and never failed to make us giggle.
Our family will be forever grateful for the love and support of our wonderful friends through this difficult journey.
Brett is preceded in death, by only 3 weeks time, by his father, Robert Partridge.
He is survived by his mother, Jacolyn Partridge; Nadine Partridge, his wife of 37 years; Siblings Brad (Lisa) Partridge, Valerie (Gary) Robinson, and Brenda (Alan) Millet; Daughter Stephanie (David) Melnick; Grandchildren Shayla Partridge and Jackson Melnick; and his many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Services were held October 23, 2021 at Forks Congregational Church.
