The Forks American Legion Post 106 is having a couple of get-togethers in October and November.

First, a pancake breakfast with eggs, sausage, juice, and coffee on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 7-11 a.m., at the post located on the corner of Maple Ave. and Division St., next to the pool. Suggested donation is $5 per person.

On Veterans Day, Sunday, Nov. 11, the post is holding a spaghetti dinner with salad and garlic bread. The dinner will be held from 4-7 p.m., and the suggested donation is $5 per person. Following dinner, is the raffle ticket drawing for a Springfield 1911 pistol Legion members have been selling tickets for.

There are still plenty of tickets available and tickets will be sold throughout the dinner. Raffle tickets are $10 each and are available from American Legion members who will also have a table at Forks Outfitters from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 20 and Nov. 3.

Come on down and get your raffle tickets or a poppy in memory of the veterans who have fallen.
