On Saturday, March 18, Clallam-Jefferson County Pro Bono Lawyers will present West End Drop-In Clinic. West End Drop-In Clinic is a program sponsored by Clallam-Jefferson County Pro Bono Lawyers and is a free, drop-in, legal advice clinic open to all members of the public but primarily aimed at assisting non-English speaking community members. There will be Spanish translation and interpretation services available on site. Held at Concerned Citizens Family First Center (915 Forks Ave, Forks, WA 98331), this clinic allows for local people to address their legal issues in one-on-one consultations with volunteer lawyers.
West End Drop-In Clinic is geared to help those who are financially unable to otherwise access an attorney but is open to all those who show up. Attorney volunteers will be available from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. to answer legal questions, direct people to local services that might be able to assist them and to explain the legal process to them. This clinic is intended to assist community members with hospital and other medical debts but is open to all types of civil legal questions as well.
It is anticipated demand for this clinic will be high, so it is recommended that attendees arrive on time to ensure being seen by an attorney. The clinic may end early depending on attendance. If you have questions, please contact Ms. Rogers at 360-504-2422 or email probonolawyers@gmail.com.
