First, let’s take a look at my 2021 predictions …okay none of them happened …so for 2022 I would like to offer once again …that citizens will hold a mass mask burning at Tillicum Park …but this time with all the proper burn permits. (I will bring this back again in 2023 if I have to.)
On January 17, Betty White’s 100th birthday, it will be revealed that she really did not die… and it was a plan to raise thousands of dollars for the welfare of animals. The Betty White Challenge, circulating on social media, invites fans to donate $5, or more, to their local animal shelter/group on that date in her memory.
Either way, it would be a great time to donate to Friends of Forks Animals. FOFA has been active in the Forks community since 1989 and is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization relying solely on donations, fundraisers, and volunteers to support its programs. Donations can be made to P O Box 2022, Forks.
Having had all they can stand, being identified with a pushy, corny white woman who is insensitive to those around her, the real “Karens” of the world will unite and in a joint effort change their names to “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.” For short, their friends and family will just call them Super.
With all the online meetings that will seem to continue …. Zoom will create a voice-activated feature where one can just say “Unmute” instead of searching around for the unmute button. Same with the “Share my screen” feature.
Due to continued road problems and the high price of gas, WSDOT and Clallam Transit will bring back steamboat ferries on Lake Crescent and along Hwy 112.
For my rain prediction for 2022, I am guessing 128.63. I was off by about 5 inches last time.
Happy 2022,
