Dear Hoh Tribe,

We thank the Hoh Tribe for their generous support of Sunshine and Rainbows Child Development Center.

We appreciate the new van which will soon be picking up children from the Hoh and around town to bring to the daycare. It is a wonderful addition to the services we can provide. We are working now on scheduling van runs, we cannot believe our good fortune in getting this beautiful brand new van.

In addition, the Hoh has also purchased things to improve the Childcare Center. We could not have done it without them. In our 45 years, we have made do with homemade furniture, secondhand toys, and used equipment. Since the Hoh has started contributing to Sunshine and Rainbows daycare, we can buy brand new equipment and make physical improvements.

Some of their contributions, just to name a few, have been flooring, new washer and dryer, HVAC system, play equipment and furniture, two outside mini-sheds, classroom toys, drums and drumsticks, kid-size sinks, outdoor games. These contributions have enriched our children’s lives and have helped our staff more effectively do their jobs which in turn benefits the children even more.”
