The Second Chances store began in 2018 with Pat Kain’s thoughts to help others in our community with their medical and clothing needs. We have handed over the clothing/shoes/purses/etc project to Ginger’s Closet, the 200 Prom Dresses project of Lauren Decker is now with Kylie at Root 101 AND our MEDICAL EQUIPMENT PROJECT has moved to The American Legion building at E. Division and Maple Avenue.

Those needing to borrow or return equipment will need to call any of the following numbers. You will be directed to meet someone at the building to return or borrow an item. Please DO NOT leave items outside the doors.

If you have borrowed an item please return it as soon as possible since these are short-term loans.. if you need a wheelchair, walker or etc for long term please request a prescription from your doctor.

We have Wheelchairs, Cruiser walkers, Bath benches, Commodes, Canes, and Walkers available for loan.
