The Congregational Church Annual Meeting is going to be held on Sunday, Feb. 4 as a continuation of worship in the Fellowship Hall. There will be a potluck meal, bring your favorite dish to share, and then we will have our annual business meeting where we will hear reports from your Moderator, Pastor, and committee heads, discussing church business and missions for this upcoming year.

The word Congregational means that the church is run by the people/church body. It is important that you come to this meeting if you are a member to stay in good standing with the church and have your voice heard. We always say, “The Word of God, for The People of God, Praise be to God.” Now we need YOU to be, “The People of God, for The Church of God, Praise be to God’s People, Who Leads Jesus Christ Church into the Future.” I am just the Pastor/Shepherd of the Church and you are the leaders of the Church. Each one of you is important to the success of this church and without you, there is no church.

Personally, I want to thank the Members and Friends of the Congregational Church for being the People of God and your dedication to our church’s mission of being a community church. We have helped several church/non-church community members this year in their time of need and we accomplished this by being a covenantal people who put their differences apart for the great good of all. God continues to set his kingdom work before us and we take that work very seriously as there is more need than ever in the community where we live.

Come help us decide what our mission for this next year will be and help us accomplish it with the grace of God. Hope to see you at our Annual Meeting after Church service on Sunday, February 4, 2024.
