A Lefse Making Class will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 250 N. Blackberry Ave., with a lunch potluck to follow.

They’re back — the Lefse Underground is making its return visit to Forks after a successful tour of Port Angeles and a respite stop in Orlando, Fla.

With their lefse grills, turning sticks, rolling pins, wit and wisdom, the Lefse Underground will be teaching everyone how to make this great Norwegian potato staple. It will all start with an introduction of the tools and process, then it will be full lefse production. There will be at least four batches of potatoes prepared in advance. A lunch potluck will follow with soup and ice tea.
