The 10U Forks Babe Ruth softball team qualified for state play at Hoquiam this week. Here the team parades around a Tillicum Park diamond on July 5 during the opening ceremonies of the West End Youth League-hosted 61st Annual Washington State Babe Ruth Fast Pitch Tournament. Some 20 teams competed in games played both at Duncan Fields and at the Tillicum ball fields.
