4-H programs teach life skills through hands-on experiential learning. Head, Heart, Hands and Health are the four Hs in 4‑H and they are the four areas members work on through fun and engaging programs. In honor of National 4-H Week, families and potential volunteers are invited to “Learn About 4-H” in your community.
There will be a 4-H information session from 4:30-5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, at the Forks Library. Come learn about the great opportunities available through the 4-H program. Children always are welcome. Clallam County 4-H has a variety of clubs and programs led by certified adult volunteer leaders. Contact the 4-H program coordinator for a list of current clubs and project areas in your community. 4-H is happy to support new 4-H clubs and project areas.
