Tina Erickson from Selah, Washington outplayed 58 other contestants Saturday night at the 4th of July Cribbage Tournament to grab 1st place honors.
Bill McArthur was our Second place finisher and Kenny Daman was our Third place finisher. All three contestants received a beautiful wood Cribbage board depicting their finishing position made by Olympic Corrections Center and a $100 gift card provided by our local merchants.
The Fourth place finisher was Eric Wang and he received a $50 gift card from Blakeslee’s Bar and Grill. Our next 8 finishers received $25 dollar gift cards from local merchants.
Wade McCoy won the Split the Pot which was a $97 purse. We also had players stop in as far away as Chicago, Illinois, and Boulder, Colorado. They said it was the highlight of their trip so far.
Without the support of our local merchants, this Cribbage Tournament would not have been held. Once again I would like to thank Forks Outfitters, Decker’s City Hardware, Clallam Roughnecks, Blakeslee’s Bar and Grill, Whitehead’s Auto Parts NAPA, Sully’s Drive-In, West End Taproom, and the Congregational Church for providing a wonderful venue that all contestants were pleased with.
Also, we would like to thank the ladies who made the twelve dozen cookies, which not a one was left, and for providing the lemon ice water. Hope to see all contestants back next year. We can hold up to 100 players with our table configuration. Be looking down the road for some fall and winter tournaments!
