The 60th annual Quillayute Valley Scholarship Auction was held last weekend at the FHS Commons. Hundreds and hundreds of items were donated and auctioned off during the amazing event that benefits FHS graduate scholarships.
According to Jerry Leppell, 890 items were auctioned off and as of Monday, the total was at $158,580 with more cash donations to be counted. “When we add in the cash donations we are hoping to hit $174,000 which will be a new record,” Jerry said. FHS graduates may apply twice for scholarship help.
