Active Scout troop to present flag at M’s season finale

Forks Boy Scout Troop 1467 will present the flag at the Seattle Mariners’ season finale Sunday at Safeco Field. The Forks Scouts will present the colors prior to the 1:10 p.m. first pitch as the Mariners close out their season at home against the Oakland Athletics.

Scouts recently have been active, with several pitching in to help whack the weeds at the lot by the Forks Athletic and Aquatic Club.

Recently, several Scouts with leader Clinton Wood underwent compass training along the Sol Duc River.
