It was a well-attended Twinkle Light Holiday Parade; both entries and spectators last Saturday night …and the rain held off!
Heather Sky Lietzke added flaming batons to the mix of Christmas lights on boats, trucks, cars, buses, and ATVs during the annual Twinkle Light Holiday Parade in Forks on Saturday night.
One of several decorated ATVs lit up for the parade. And …the rain let up just before the parade started!
It was families having fun on this magnificent huge float that was back for another year! About 20 entries participated in the parade this year. The parade is sponsored by the West End Business and Professional Association. Photos Christi Baron
The Quillayute Valley School District bus drivers went all out decorating this school bus for the annual Twinkle Light Holiday parade held Saturday night in Forks. The bus drivers even took the opportunity to add a banner to the back of the bus advertising they desperately need more bus drivers!
The Witherspoon family supported the parade with this entry, for some after-parade activities at Ginger’s Closet. It was a very Grinchy parade with many floats and costumes depicting the grouchy, grumpy green guy. Bill Plumley follows in his 1985 Cadillac “Elks Mobile.”
