Over the Rainfest weekend April 17-19 there will be an Open Mic talent show from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, April 19. This event is open to all ages of singers, musicians, actors, dancers, etc., to showcase and share their talents in honor of the grand opening of the new RainForest Arts Center.

It is time to start rehearsing.Performers should prepare one to three numbers and how many each person will be able to perform will be determined on the number of performers. Amps and mics will be provided.

Accompaniment can be provided if need be. Contact Sally Milici if accompaniment is needed at 327-3303. No air bands/Karaoke please and all material should be family friendly.  Sign-ups will be the day of the Open Mic so people can decide when they’d like to perform.

There will be several “chicken in” spots on the roster so that anyone who was not going to perform decides at the last minute, “I think I can do this,” will be able to perform, too.Get rehearsing, talented West Enders!
