On June 15, 2015, Deputies responded to Hidden View Drive for a residential burglary complaint. Hidden View Drive is located off of O’Brien Road in the unincorporated area of Clallam County between the cities of Sequim and Port Angeles. The burglary occurred between 9 and 11 a.m.
Stolen from the residence was a safe containing several firearms and over $20,000 in cash.Several witnesses saw a vehicle leave the area of the crime scene at a high rate of speed at around 10 a.m. The victim suspected an acquaintance, 23 year old Marlon Lamprecht of committing the burglary.
The victim checked Lamprecht’s FACEBOOK page and discovered that the day prior to the burglary he was associating with 30-year-old Quinta Huggins.
Huggins had posted a photograph of her truck on her account. All the witnesses identified this truck as the one leaving the crime scene. On June 20, 2015, a search warrant was served at Lamprecht’s last known address on Ryser Ave.
in the City of Sequim. The warrant was served by law enforcement personnel from the Sheriff’s Office, City of Sequim Police Department, and the Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team (OPNET).
Several items that were reported stolen were recovered including $300.00 of the stolen cash, five of the six stolen guns and parts to the gun safe including the lock, which the victim’s key matched.
Lamprecht was not present during the service of the warrant and remains at large. Shortly after, officers with the Sheriff’s Department, OPNET, and the City of Port Angeles Police served a warrant at Huggins last known address located on West 10th St, Port Angeles.
During the search officers found a few more hundred dollars of the stolen cash, and several new items of clothing and electronics. These items were located in vehicles parked at the residence, including the truck used during the burglary.
Lamprecht is currently wanted for burglary in the first degree, 6 counts of theft of a firearm, five counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, and theft in the first degree.Anyone with information on Lamprecht’s whereabouts should call 360-417-2459.
