Order Declaring Fire Danger and Imposing

Burn Ban in the City of Forks

Pursuant to the Forks Municipal Code Chapter 2.35 as the inspector, and in order to avoid any uncertainty, I hereby declare that there is unusual fire danger in the City of Forks. Further, pursuant to the authority within the City of Forks to include such things as recreational fires regardless of their location of manner of containment. I also hereby prohibit the use of the open fire pit, use of fire torches for treatment of yards, driveways, etc.

This ban on the use of fires shall remain in effect until such time as the Department of Natural Resources removes the concurrent state wide burn ban.
