Forks Police Department Advisor/Administrator Rick Bart poses with Skyler, who is wearing Bart’s Snohomish County Sheriff’s hat, which Bart gave to the boy. Behind them is a table full of gifts Skyler received including many from Forks. Bart said City Forks administrator Nerissa Davis and her sister Sonja Hirsch, who is on staff at the law enforcement facility in Burien, did a great job in gathering the gifts and helping Skyler enjoy his big day. Some 25 children suffering from various ailments were sponsored by law enforcement agencies from across Washington state at the event.
