The Olympic Orchard Society (OOS) from Sequim will be there, sharing how to care for your fruit trees and protect them from elk and other tree dangers. The Friends of the Hoko River State Park are grateful to have the OOS support and guidance for the Heritage Orchard at John Cowan’s Heritage Site. John asked some friends to help his farm/ranch keep on keeping on sharing good spirits, ideas, food, and ways to be sustainable. He told me once “If you marry Mother Nature, work hard, be kind to your friends and neighbors, create some art, and share your bounty, more will be bountiful.”
