Forks beautification
To perk up the town for the big 4th of July weekend, Pura Carlson, her son Zach and local artist Vern Hestand (in the photo) hung historically relevant photo displays by Larry Burtness in the windows of the former office of Twilight Tours on Forks Avenue. The Forks Beautification Committee intends to duplicate the approach in every windowed and available empty storefront along the highway, all in an effort to pump up the appeal of Forks to passersby. For more information, contact Carlson at Chinook Pharmacy at 374-2294 or Hestand from Bear Mountain Woodworx at 640-9840.
