Forks Fire Chief Bill Paul is asking residents to take a good look at their driveways and ask themselves if an emergency vehicle/fire truck could access it if there were a fire at their residence. Clearance for fire truck access per International Fire Code (IFC) 503.2.1: Fire apparatus access roads shall have an unobstructed width of not less than 20 feet and an unobstructed vertical clearance of not less than 14 feet.
