By Kris Ayers,
Sewing Project Leader
The Crafty Critters 4-H sewing group invited Pam Cantrell, Director of The Caring Place, to their recent meeting. The members sewed seven baby receiving blankets and donated them to The Caring Place. Mrs. Cantrell spoke about the importance of The Caring Place in that they provide clothes, furniture, and baby supplies to families in need at no cost. In addition, they offer childbirth and parenting classes.
The 4-Hers sewed the flannel receiving blankets with fabric donations from Marilyn Thompson, Martha Paul, Cindy Mesenbrink, Marcia Yanish, Dee Grafstrom, Lois Richmond, Connie Sallee, Gayle Mousis, Barb Soderlind, Molly Breed, Kris Ayers and members of the Piecemakers Quilt Club. They are thankful for the generosity of many community members.
