Injury rollover accident
The Washington State Patrol is reporting that on Sunday, Dec. 19 just before 7 p.m. a one-vehicle rollover accident took place on SR110 at MP3.
The Press Memo states that Benjamin J. Ernst, age 44 of Forks, was driving a 2003 Lincoln Town Car on SR 110 when the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the roadway to the left and rolled, coming to rest on its top.
WSP also reports that two juveniles were in the vehicle, ages 13 and seven; none of the occupants were wearing seatbelts. The driver was injured and taken to Forks Community Hospital, the seven-year old was airlifted to Harborview. The 13-year-old was taken to FCH as a precaution.
WSP shared that charges are pending the investigation. The vehicle was totaled and towed by West End Motors.
